The 2026–27 budget is the first budget presented by the newly elected governing committee. Therefore, it has been prepared with the objective of achieving comprehensive development.

Along with strengthening the village economically through paddy cultivation, banana cultivation, vegetable farming, and other agricultural activities, the natural beauty along the banks of the Periyar River offers immense potential for tourism development. By implementing projects such as boating, eco-tourism, and riverside parks, we will make maximum use of the opportunities available to transform our village into a tourism hub.

For the financial year 2026–27, the budget estimates:

• Plan Expenditure: ₹18,06,38,012
• Expected Closing Balance: ₹1,86,16,025
